Sassy Birthday Card

My moms birthday is coming up, so my quest last night was to make her card.
I started by stamping the image from SU!'s Sassy Suzie set and then colored it in with SU! Stamp & Write Markers. Once that was complete, I colored the entire image with an embossing pen and heat embossed with clear EP. I then used a piece of scrap paper to block the floor and sponged on some Old Olive ink to create the walls, and then used the scrap paper to block a seam where the two walls meet and sponged on some Always Artichoke. Then I blocked the wall and used a Chocolate Chip spot to create the wood floor.
Once the main layer was complete, I used a circle punch to create the ticket corners on the main layer and Designer Series Paper. The bottom layer has the Canvas BG stamp and the large swirl from Priceless in Pretty in Pink. Added a layer of Old Olive punched with the Scallop Border Punch. Layered them all together, added the sentiment from Sassy Suzie, some white ribbon, and 3 crystal brads.
Hope you like!

Rachelle Anne Miller Christmas

I "cheated" on my Stampin' Up sets last week and recieved two adorable Rachelle Anne Miller clear stamps by Stampavie (here's one of them). While I have guilt issues, I am in love with the two stamps. Everything else is SU!..the CS, the ink, the BG stamp, and the sentiment...I have to represent! I watercolored the stamp with my blender pen and pastels. and then glossed over the ornaments, star, and garland with Crystal Effects. Added a little Paper Piercing for good measure! Enjoy!

Snow Swirled Brayered Night Card

This is a card I made last week after getting a brayer. First I used the Stampin’ Up! exclusive Top Note die on my Big Shot to cut out the top layer of the card on Whisper White cardstock and then stamped my tree and sentiment in Versamark. Then I embossed both with white embossing powder. Now the fun part! I grabbed my brocade blue, not quite navy, and night of navy ink pads. I inked up the brayer with brocade blue and covered most of the CS with it. I then inked up 3/4 of the brayer with not quite navy and then rolled it over 3/4 of the “sky” of the CS. I then inked up 1/4 of the brayer with night of navy and rolled it over the top 1/4 of the “sky” of the CS and repeated as necessary until I had the desired shading along the top. Then, I took a sponge with some night of navy ink and sponged around the outside and bottom edges of the CS to provide some shading. I then used my white gel pen to add some stars/snow flakes. Top layer done!

I then layerd it on some Whisper White CS, then some Brocade Blue CS, and mounted it on a base of Night of Navy. Hope you like it!
